        Advanced Safety offers classes in General Industry and Construction Industry to help employees meet OSHA requirements for a safe and healthy workplace that is free of occupational hazards.


Crane operator courses are designed to provide education in the safe practices and procedures in all industries. Classes are also offered in Confined Space  to teach employees to identify and establish proper entry permit procedures, recognize and control hazards, ventilation, atmospheric monitoring, personal protective equipment and non-entry rescue to comply with OSHA requirements. Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, Forklift Safety, HAZCOM, H2S and other courses are taught through hands-on and classroom teaching methods.

COMPETENT CLIMBER FALL PROTECTION / VERTICAL RESCUE FOR TOWER WORKERS

National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) Advanced Safety designed a 60' structure on our location for fall protection & rescue training. The tower was designed to give the climber the experience of using a ladder to climb, using pegs to climb, the use of a safe climbing device, and other features. 

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRYProvides the latest OSHA regulations for Construction Industry. In addition to the text of 29 CFR 1926, it containes rules on inspections, as well as the requirements for recording training procedures.
FALL PROTECTION/VERTICAL RESCUE PLANNINGOSHA requires 100% tie-off for Fall Protection. Training is necessary to guarantee correct knowledge and usage of personal fall arrest systems.
GENERAL INDUSTRY Provides the latest OSHA regulations for General Industry. In addition to the text of 29 CFR 1910, these class's contain rules on inspections, as well as the requirements for recording and reporting occupational injuries and illnesses.
GRANT REIMBURSEMENT TRAINING Louisiana Workforce Commission SBET grant training. Advanced Safety is an authorized SBET training provider in which your company can get reimbursed by the state for your safety training. If you own a small business and have less than 50 employees and have been in operation for at least 3 years, your company may qualify to get reimbursed up to $3000 for training per employee per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). HEAVY EQUIPMENTAlthough OSHA has not yet mandated that all Heavy Equipment operators become certified, many companies in the construction industry DO require certification training. Employers in the construction industry have reported that they are experiencing a decrease in the amount of premium they have to pay for liability insurance due to hiring certified workers.
OFFSHORE INDUSTRY Offshore Industry trainings provide the latest on BSEE regulations for mineral exploration on the OCS of the Gulf of Mexico.
